Responsibilities & Skills

Accountabilities: 

  • Act as a key research and development member of the Architecture modelling team
  • Define, develop, debug, and troubleshoot complex models in SystemC and Firmware
  • Provide guidance and technical assistance to engineers to enable them to develop models and in the methodology of a ‘model first’ design flow.
  • Improve development methodologies and processes  

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
  • 5+ years of experience in software development working in the FPGA/VLSI EDA field
  • Knowledge in FPGA logic design
  • Familiar with commercial FPGA tools and operation flow
  • Must be proficient with C/C++, knowledge of TCL and Qt is preferred
  • Strong background in object-oriented programming, data structures and efficient algorithms
  • Must possess independent problem solving skills
  • Map/Place/Route experience for FPGA design is preferred
  • Must be able to drive projects and lead a discussion
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple groups
