We are seeking a highly skilled Server and Datacenter Business Development Marketing Leader to spearhead our marketing efforts in the server and datacenter ecosystem. This role demands expertise in vertical/segment marketing, complemented by strong business development skills. The right candidate will have significant experience in the server and datacenter industry, preferably with hyperscalers, and possess exceptional communication, leadership, and ecosystem engagement capabilities. Experience with FPGA technologies is a strong plus.
Responsibilities
Strategic Marketing & Positioning
Drive Lattice’s positioning as a critical silicon provider for hyperscaler compute, AI datacenters, cloud infrastructure security, and accelerator platforms.
Develop and implement marketing strategies tailored to the server and datacenter vertical, focusing on hyperscaler accounts and other high-growth segments.
Craft compelling value propositions, messaging, and go-to-market plans to differentiate solutions in the competitive landscape.
Business Development
Identify and establish strategic partnerships with hyperscalers, OEMs, ODMs, and other key stakeholders in the server and datacenter ecosystem.
Identify strategic insertion points in CSP architectures — including BMC/attestation flows, NIC/DPU pipelines, memory and storage controllers, rack-scale management, and platform telemetry/control subsystems.
Drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, negotiating partnerships, and fostering long-term customer relationships.
Ecosystem Engagement
Leverage industry connections to deepen relationships with ecosystem partners and elevate the company’s brand presence.
Represent the company at industry events, forums, and initiatives to promote collaborations and thought leadership.
Engage deeply with hyperscaler platform architecture teams to influence next generation server, AI accelerator, and disaggregated compute roadmaps.
Leadership Through Influence
Work across functional teams, including engineering, sales, and operations, to align strategies and ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Act as a change agent, driving alignment on objectives and priorities within global teams and external partners.
Market Insights & Analysis
Conduct thorough market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive dynamics.
Provide actionable insights to influence product roadmaps and business strategies.
Communication & Storytelling
Develop compelling narratives and presentations that clearly articulate the company’s value in server and datacenter solutions.
Serve as the primary spokesperson for the vertical, effectively engaging hyper scalers, partners, and other key stakeholders.
The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of working experience with increasing executive responsibility, culminating in a business development leadership role in the datacenter / hyperscaler ecosystem.
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or related technical field is required. A graduate degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
10+ years of experience working in the server and datacenter ecosystem, with demonstrated success in business development and marketing.
Deep familiarity with cloud platform architecture including BMC security, RoT implementations, attestation pipelines, NIC and DPU architectures, datacenter control path acceleration, server power/thermal telemetry systems, and CSP security/compliance frameworks.
Hardware systems expertise in server / rack architecture and associated cloud security, especially in the emerging AI datacenter environments.
The ideal candidate started their career in hardware engineering or server architecture and has migrated to customer-facing GTM roles over recent years. S/he is adept at technical solutioning with customers and can address a need before a customer knows it exists.
Proven experience partnering with hyperscalers and ODMs/OEMs. S/he understands how to engage with their unique requirements and can point to relationships they have built over the years in the datacenter ecosystem.
Strong background in vertical/segment marketing, including go-to-market strategy and customer engagement.
Demonstrated ability to identify and secure high-value strategic partnerships. This person has ideally participated in the Open Compute Project (OCP) and can help Lattice nurture this relationship.
Established network within the server and datacenter industry, especially among hyperscalers and technology partners.
A track record of creating new business opportunities that have led to significant revenue gain for companies in the semiconductor / datacenter ecosystems.

This person is relationship oriented and has spent years cultivating meaningful business relationships in the cloud service provider market.
Datacenter and Hyperscaler Experience
The right candidate will have a technical background in semiconductor, FPGAs, server hardware, or cloud security systems. S/he understands the composition of server and network architecture at a deep level and can leverage that experience to lead executive discussions with hyperscalers and datacenter ODMs / OEMs. This person’s understanding of the hyperscaler ecosystem allows them to see and capture business opportunity ahead of customer need.
Communication and Influence
This executive will be entering Lattice as an individual contributor; however, they will be an executives inside the organization. Therefore, s/he must have fantastic communication and collaboration skills to influence both internal and external stakeholders to drive business outcomes. This person is a force of positiveness and naturally draws people towards them.
The incoming leader is a high-integrity, collaborative individual with a team-first mentality. S/he leads by example and operates with the utmost sense of professional integrity. They are willing to engage in transparent, respectful debate, but ultimately acknowledge that everyone at Lattice is rowing in the same direction.
Our primary target candidates are hardware architects with working experience at Meta, Microsoft, AWS, Nvidia and Google.
The winning candidate for this role could also emerge from a semiconductor company selling solutions into the datacenter ecosystem. Examples of these companies include AMD, ARM (CPU teams), Qualcomm (datacenter teams), Habana Labs, Ambere, Cerebras, SambaNova, Intel and Groq.
The right person may also be at one of the alternative cloud providers or ODMs in the hyperscalers ecosystem. These companies include SuperMicro, Oracle, Celestica, Jabil, HPE, Dell, CoreWeave, and Quanta.
Finally, candidates may also emerge from the datacenter teams at other FPGA providers, especially Altera and Xilinx.
