We are seeking a talented Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to join our South China team, responsible for providing professional technical support, promoting Lattice FPGA products, and driving product design-in in server, especially AI server fields. This role requires solid FPGA technical capabilities, rich industry experience, and excellent customer service awareness to build long-term cooperative relationships with customers and assist in business growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical pre-sales and after-sales support for Lattice FPGA products in South China, including scheme design, technical consultation, problem diagnosis, and solution optimization for customer projects.

• Focus on server scenarios, deeply explore FPGA application needs in AI servers (such as heterogeneous computing acceleration, AI inference optimization) and provide customized technical solutions.

• Cooperate with sales teams to conduct product demonstrations, technical training and scheme promotion, assist in completing design-in and sales targets.

• Collect customer feedback, track industry and technology trends of FPGA and AI servers and provide suggestions for product optimization and market strategy adjustment to the company.

 

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or related majors, with more than 10 years of FAE or FPGA design-related work experience in semiconductor industry.

• Proficient in Lattice FPGA product lines (such as Avant, Nexus, ECP, MachXO series) and design tools, familiar with other mainstream FPGA brands and technologies, mastering VHDL/Verilog hardware description languages and FPGA design, simulation and debugging processes.

• In-depth understanding of FPGA applications in server fields, especially AI server heterogeneous computing, high-speed interface (PCIe, SerDes) configuration, and AI inference acceleration solutions.

• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities, able to work independently and bear work pressure, with good customer service awareness.

• Familiar with South China semiconductor market, having customer resources in server or AI industry is a plus; experience in technical support for high-speed interface or memory (DDR4/DDR5) design is preferred.

• Fluent in Chinese and English (listening, speaking, reading, and writing), able to adapt to occasional business trips in South China.
