Responsibilities & Skills

We are looking for a strategic and detail-oriented APAC MarComm Manager to lead public relations and marketing communications efforts in our focus countries in the Asia-Pacific region including China, India, Philippines, Malaysia, and others. This role will oversee external and internal communications, social media, local event execution, and translation workflows – ensuring high-quality output, cultural relevance, and alignment with company strategy and brand standards. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and preferably in Mandarin, and passionate about delivering measurable impact through data-driven and regionally resonant, creative storytelling.

Success in this role requires strong APAC regional expertise, agency management, process-orientation, and a passion for high-quality, data-driven storytelling across communications, social media, events, and localization. You will manage a small team, so strong people management capabilities are essential. Proactivity, attention to detail, strong relationship building and communications skills, and a commitment to raising the bar…then surpassing it…are a must.


Responsibilities


Integrated Communications

  • Develop and execute high-quality, regionally relevant integrated communications strategies including corporate, product, and local executive comms, aligned with global efforts and messaging to increase brand awareness in APAC.

  • Manage media relations across business, trade, and tech publications in APAC region, including thought leadership and other opportunities that increase company exposure in focus countries.

  • Track, analyze, and report PR results, providing comprehensive post-campaign summaries and strategic recommendations based on results.

  • Create and manage an impactful awards program that spans corporate and product-level opportunities.

  • Ensure consistency, clarity, and quality in all external messaging and content, including but not limited to drafting press releases, talking points, blogs, white papers, and contributed articles.

 

Social Media

  • Own and grow Lattice’s presence on corporate platforms such as WeChat and Weibo.

  • Create and localize engaging content that reflects global messaging and resonates with local audiences.

  • Use data-driven insights to optimize organic and paid content strategies, posting cadence, and audience engagement.

  • Monitor performance metrics and adjust tactics to meet quarterly growth and engagement goals.

 

Launch / Event Management

  • Support global product launches and campaigns with localized strategies that deliver measurable impact.

  • Plan and execute high-quality local events including webinars, media briefings/roundtables, and tradeshows.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure flawless execution and brand consistency.

 

Translation & Localization

  • Oversee translation quality management of corporate materials like webpages, press releases, blogs, white papers, and other marketing assets.

  • Ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and quality across all translated content.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external translation resources to maintain high standards.

 

People Management

  • Manage a small team and agency partners responsible for translations, social media, and multi-media development.

  • Motivate team to deliver on commitments and exceed metrics, holding them accountable and ensuring performance meets management standards.

  • Coach employee development to ensure their skills continuously strengthen and evolve with the needs of the business.

  • Guide workload prioritization and help raise visibility for results through reporting and other recognition opportunities.

 

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Closely partner with global and regional teams to ensure alignment on messaging, planning, campaign execution, and reporting.

  • Oversee local PR agencies, ghost writers, translation resources, holding accountable to plan execution and budget commitments.

  • Create and proactively drive processes to maximize efficiency across owned workstreams.

  • Contribute to global storytelling initiatives, including thought leadership, application-centric narratives, and APAC leadership platforms.

  • Develop playbooks and frameworks for APAC communications strategies, operations, standards, and performance metrics, in alignment with global efforts.

  • Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing communications, PR, or related fields in APAC region, preferably in the tech or semiconductor industry. Ideal candidate has multi-country experience and an understanding of diverse media landscapes across APAC.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field, or equivalent alternative education, skills, and/or practical experience.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin (written and spoken). 

  • Strong media relations and storytelling skills, and existing media relationships across APAC. 

  • Experience managing social media platforms with a data-driven approach. 

  • Proven ability to manage events and cross-functional projects with attention to detail and quality. 

  • Familiarity with translation workflows and localization best practices.

  • Experience working in a global organization with matrixed teams.

  • At least 3 years of people management experience and passion for growing strong team members.

  • Semiconductor industry and B2B experience preferred, agency and in-house experience a plus.

  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Flexibility to operate across time zones to support high-priority communications, as needed.

  • A passion for life-long learning, attention to detail, and a sense of urgency.
