Senior Tax Accountant

• Preparation of tax returns and tax computations for regional entities including but not limited to GST/VAT, withholding tax, etc.
• Remit payments and perform monthly & quarterly VAT tax account reconciliations
• Ensure compliance with transfer pricing agreements
• Coordinate with various business functions to consolidate necessary data for tax filing preparation
• Investigate and respond to notices from taxing authorities and assist with audits
• Drive ongoing process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness
• Support various ad-hoc tax planning and special project work
• Other duties assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience preferred

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation from an accredited college/university

• International VAT or indirect tax experience

• Motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a member of the team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with business partners

• Proven organization skills with critical attention to detail

• Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
