Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Facilities & Lab Engineer to manage the facilities, lab, EHS and logistics. This position would be responsible for ensuring the continuous safe and conducive operations of the office facilities, inclusive of the electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural infrastructure. 

  • This position will be responsible for monitoring and implementing the site facilities maintenance program, inclusive of basic procurement, trouble-shooting, repairs or setups, while supervising vendors on major maintenance, repairs or fit-out activities. 

  • This position will act as site lead for the global EHS program, including coordination with local government agencies in securing permits, compliance & preparation of required documentation.

  • This position will be responsible for managing the lab environment for orderliness, allocation of resources and handling of potentially hazardous materials, as well as coordinating the equipment calibration. 

  • This position will also manage the logistics of incoming and outgoing shipments, inclusive of import duties, permit applications and tracking. 

  • This position must be able to respond to facilities emergencies successfully, while helping to ensure the safety of the employees. 

  • Assist with special projects & other duties as assigned.

Candidate profile:

  • •    Relevant diploma and/or professional certification (Mechanical or Electrical) with at least 3-5 years of experience in lab or facilities management

  • •    Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)

  • •    Strong teamwork and organizational skills

  • •    Accountable, responsive, resourceful and self-driven

  • •    Experienced in managing engineering labs and office facilities, inclusive of electricals, lab benches, compressed air infrastructure, air-conditioning systems and basic plumbing

  • •    Experienced in managing office infrastructure, maintenance and fit-out vendors.

  • •    Knowledge/experience in occupational safety and health regulations would be an added advantage

  • •    Knowledge/experience in basic logistics woud be a plus

  • •    Essential skills in basic project management and computer literate, particularly MS Outlook, Excel and Powerpoint.
