Description

  • Lattice Semiconductor is looking for a Technical Lead for the Customer Experience Engineering team.  This position provides technical leadership to champion the methodology and mindset that enables Lattice deliverables to achieve best-in-class customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive touchpoint strategy for customers’ technical journey.  Create new platforms or collateral (Reference Designs, User Guides, Application Notes, Custom Development Tools) that empowers and eases Lattice FPGA adoption for customers, Field Application Engineer (FAE) teams, and channel partners from around the world.

  • Establish scalable frameworks/processes that guide and enhance the usefulness of product features and collaterals.  This includes improving the customer’s navigation across the full spectrum of the FPGA development cycle, encompassing areas such as part selection, RTL design entry, PCB board design, FPGA architecture, FPGA timing closure, soft-IP integration, embedded systems design, implementation for protocols across various industries, and more.

  • Collaborate with silicon, software, applications, and solutions engineers on technical documentation and training content development to enrich the existing Lattice ecosystem.

  • Drive debug and issue resolution for selected customers, including leading direct engagement with strategic customers critical to Lattice business.  Demonstrate breadth in resolution of issues that range across various industries, applications and use cases.

  • Transform customer feedback into engineering improvements.  This includes synthesizing customer issue trends into improvements in design collaterals and engaging with R&D teams on product definition to meet customer needs.

  • Work on seeding strategies to expand the developer community and ecosystem, by improving accessibility and increasing the reach of Lattice product, development tools & collaterals.

  • Play a pioneering role in the expansion of the Customer Experience organization.  Drive influence across the company to establish customer experience metrics that ties to practical business impact.

Experience

  • 15 years of FPGA experience, either as an FPGA developer or user.

  • Demonstrated expertise in understanding interoperability and delivering complex technical projects comprising of various engineering functions - across silicon, software, IP, boards/hardware.

  • Experience in specific applications (vision, industry automation, AI/ML, communications/networking protocols, embedded systems) is an added advantage.

  • Ability to work through ambiguities and define frameworks that scales the team to support more products and higher complexity applications.

  • Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management.  Experience with direct customer engagement is a plus.

  • Excel in working across functional teams, sites and cultures.
