Job Summary:
The IT Operations Engineer at Lattice Semiconductor will focus on end-user support and aspects of infosec, infrastructure, and applications support. This role ensures that Lattice’s global workforce—particularly FPGA design engineers and R&D teams—has secure, reliable, and high-performing IT systems to drive innovation in low-power programmable logic solutions. The IT Operations Engineer will collaborate with IT professionals to maintain operational excellence across multiple IT domains critical to semiconductor design.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Service Delivery: Ensure the efficient and effective delivery of IT services to meet business needs and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
Smart Hands Support: Provide hands-on technical assistance to other IT teams, including hardware installations, troubleshooting & testing, and maintenance.
Local Site Ownership: As main point of contact, assume total ownership of the local site, manage all IT-related activities, and ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Office 365 Administration: Administer and manage Office 365 services, including user accounts, permissions, and configurations, Intune, Entra, Security Center & Purview.
Security Operations Center (SOC): Monitor and respond to security alerts and incidents, ensuring the protection of company assets and data.
Security Incident Response: Perform T1/T2 security response activities for incidents, including investigation, mitigation, and documentation.
System Administration: Manage and maintain IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications, ensuring their availability and performance.
IT Service Management (ITSM): Implement and manage ITSM processes to ensure the alignment of IT services with business needs.
ITIL Framework: Apply ITIL best practices to improve service management and delivery.
Autopilot Management: Deploy and manage devices using Microsoft Autopilot.
Jamf Administration: Administer and manage Jamf for macOS devices, ensuring seamless integration and management.
MacOS and Windows OS Support: Provide support and administration for macOS and Windows 11 systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance IT operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field, field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience in IT operations, system administration, and security response.
Strong knowledge of Office 365 administration and security practices.
Experience with ITSM, ITIL, Autopilot, Jamf, Windows 11 and macOS.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Relevant certifications such as ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus.
