Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice is seeking a highly energetic intern – with Electronic Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science background – to join our high performing team in Penang. As part of Lattice’s Silicon Engineering Team, you will be working with architect and technical staff of High-Speed Serial Protocol design for next generation Filed Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) products. The internship assignments will provide a broad exposure to Lattice’s unique and world-leading FPGA products and an array of advanced software and hardware tools. Interns will gain good understanding in IC design development cycle, with exposure in design quality check metrics as well as design methodology definition and development.

Accountabilities

  • Own or assist in design quality check with exposure to various industry standard EDA tool and methodology

  • Scripting in flow automation on daily design execution tasks

  • New design methodology development

  • Design openbox assertion check coding and debug

  • Assist in design code coverage analysis and closure

Qualification

  • Completed minimum three years toward completion of BS or pursuing MS in Electronics Engineering / Computer Engineering / Computer Science with GPA ≥ 3.5 in core subjects

  • Completed C/C++, Python, Java or Data structure related courses

  • Completed or currently pursuing VLSI design related courses (i.e. Digital Electronics, Verilog, System Verilog, UVM) will be a plus

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Demonstrates fundamental values suck as integrity, accountability and a winning mindset.

  • Strong interest in pursuing an engineering career with a fast-paced high technology company.
