Responsibilities & Skills

Accountabilities: 

  • Develop FPGA-based system solutions expanding into various verticals including Vision and AI, server security, industrial automation, communications and automotive.

  • Develop new FW, driver, test code for host to peripheral/device communications, system orchestration.

  • Test and validate FW and driver codes, perform regression testing on components and system.

  • Creating product collaterals to guide end-users on how to use and integrate Lattice design solutions and software into their end products

  • Providing technical support to Field Applications Engineers and end customers on issues they encounter while integrating Lattice solutions in their system.

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science/EE with 8+ years of experience in Embedded FW and/or low-level driver development.

  • Working-level understanding of Windows software development including driver, service, library and application software development.

  • Knowledge of FPGA design flow and development tools is desirable.

  • Knowledge of RISC-V systems is an advantage.

  • Experience using embedded development tools, Oscilloscope, logic analyzer, I2C/SPI analyzer, USB analyzer.

  • Problem solver and creative thinker, ability to transform ideas from research articles into working solutions for real-world problems

  • Outstanding English communication skills, both written and verbal required.

  • Must be able to work independently and also in a team environment.
