Lattice is seeking an experienced individual to be a part of our China/APAC Customer Quality Team. This role will be based in Shanghai with some travel to customer sites throughout China. This role is a critical part of the customer experience with Lattice Semiconductor products and as such, good technical communication skills are important.
Accountabilities:
Actively manage customer issues in the field across the spectrum of factory and operations defects to customer applications and device usage
Serve as the interface between customer’s technical teams and Lattice Failure Analysis, Operations, and R&D teams as issues are diagnosed and debugged.
Interact on a regular basis with Lattice Sales and Applications teams which are based in China/APAC.
Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned
Minimum Required Experience and Skills
10 years+ of experience in semiconductor and electronics industry
Bachelor’s degree in technical field
Good written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English
Ability to travel on a regular basis
Experience with electronics debug processes
Ability to lead validation/verification to the root causes of failure issues
Preferred Experience and Skills
Hands on technical experience with FPGA devices and software
Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and defect mechanisms
Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams
Good knowledge of customer usage and applications (Automotive, Communication or other segments)
Expertise in 8D, DOE, Lean, Six Sigma methodology or other quality tools
Ability to use JMP, Minitab or other statistical analysis tools
Familiarity with AEC-Q100 and JESD47K industrial standards
Certifications quality organizations like ASQ or CAQ
