Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice Semiconductor is seeking for an Accounts Payable Accountant to join our Finance Team focused on Lattice Accounting and Compliance.  This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.

 

Accountabilities: 

The role of Accounts Payable Accountant involves providing financial and administrative support to the organization. Her role is to complete the payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient manner for all domestic and international vendors. On a quarterly basis, she will process and monitor the Japan Consumption Tax. She also needs to ensure local statutory compliance and SOX internal controls.

 

  • Invoice and payment processing of domestic and international Vendors

  • SOX controls, Internal and External Audit Compliance

  • DPO Forecasting

  • Monthly invoice and open PO accrual

  • Monthly AP Blackline Reconciliation 

  • Closing of AP module

  • Quarterly preparation of Japan Consumption Tax

  • Assist with special projects & other duties as assigned

 

 

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor of Science Accountancy or Advanced Accounting.

  • CPA is preferred

  • At least 3 years’ experience relevant experience.

  • Advantage on the experience in Oracle, Blackline system

  • Strong technical accounting background with a thorough knowledge of US GAAP

  • Knowledge of SEC reporting requirements preferred

  • Oracle ERP experience preferred

  • Strong, disciplined work paper preparation skills

  • Highly detail oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills including ability to effectively communicate technical issues to finance and non-finance personnel at all levels of a global organization

  • Experience with technical research and ability to interpret accounting guidance in supporting conclusions

  • Ability to clearly and concisely document complex accounting and reporting issues and prepare high quality accounting memoranda

  • Ability to lead meetings

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize appropriately and manage competing priorities and deadlines with minimal supervision

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel
