Responsibilities
Lead a global team of Technical Program Managers that serves the FPGA Solutions Engineering teams across all market segments and geographies.
Project-manage engineering development that outputs FPGA-based solutions for customers. Projects range from Proof-of-Concept demonstration of breakthrough new applications, to complete, production-ready solutions for customers (OEMs, ODMs).
Drive vigorous discussions with Marketing and field team to ensure solutions strategy is robust and relevant to current and future needs of the market.
Own the end-to-end solutions development planning, working with various engineering teams across multiple functions (silicon, software, soft-IP), and geographies to ensure a comprehensively defined project plan.
Main customer interface who intimately understands customer’s development and product roadmap, technical requirements, and aligns it with Lattice’s roadmap. Establishes proactive, two-way communications that ensure expectations are consistently aligned.
Collaborate with partners in the FPGA ecosystem to pull together a full system solution that matches strategic customer requirements.
Effective risk and incident management through definition and enforcement of escalation process, timely communication, and executive leadership to carry through critical issues with suppliers/customers.
Proper governance through meaningful metrics and operations dashboards that proactively identifies and prevents roadblocks, and ensures project tracks to committed scope, schedule, and investment.
Foster an accountability mindset with all contributing teams that translates engineering tenacity into responsible ownership and active progress.
Operationalize project management methodology throughout the organization. Build schedule fidelity by defining frameworks that drive full inter-dependency definition, traceable change management, and practical resource allocation.
Scale the team to manage more complex solutions and aggressive time-to-markets. Comprehend corporate roadmap, competitive landscape, and organization strengths to formulate a strategic development plan for the team.
Drive strategic initiatives that continuously improve the efficacy of project management, optimize project execution, and demonstrate business value of the solutions developed.
Candidate profile
15+ years of experience in semiconductor, either as a developer, end-user, or program manager. Experience with FPGA is a strong advantage. Experience practicing PMP, Lean Six Sigma are pluses.
Proven experience building a high-performing team with corporate-level mindset and influence.
Track record of delivering complex technical projects comprising of various engineering functions with effective management of scope, schedule and resources.
Ability to work through ambiguities and establish order – through goal alignment, ownership clarity, and frameworks that scales the team to support more customers and higher complexity solutions.
Outstanding communication skills and stakeholder management. Experience with direct customer engagement and managing high stakes situations are pluses.
Experience in specific applications (HW/SW security, vision processing, industry automation, AI/ML, communications/networking protocols, embedded systems) is an added advantage.
Excel in working across functional teams, geographies and cultures.
