Responsibilities & Skills

Lead and oversee the infrastructure and operations team responsible for maintaining and optimizing the organization's technology infrastructure, including Linux server farms, enterprise storage solutions, network security, cloud platforms, and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute infrastructure strategy aligned with business objectives

- Lead a team of engineers/administrators managing cloud platforms, data centers, and network infrastructure

- Oversee Linux server farm operations, including capacity planning, performance tuning, and automation

- Manage enterprise storage infrastructure including NetApp systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability

- Direct network operations with focus on Fortinet security implementations and best practices

- Establish SLAs, KPIs, and operational metrics to ensure service reliability

- Drive infrastructure cost optimization initiatives

- Implement security best practices and compliance requirements

- Lead incident response and problem management processes

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

- 12+ years of infrastructure/operations experience

- 3+ years of people management experience

- Expert knowledge of Linux systems administration and automation

- Proven experience managing enterprise NetApp storage solutions

- Strong background in Fortinet network security platforms and FortiGate firewalls

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Track record of managing large-scale infrastructure projects

- Strong incident management and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

- Master's degree in relevant field

- Professional certifications (Linux, NetApp, Fortinet NSE, AWS, ITIL)

- Experience with containerization and microservices

- Knowledge of compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001)

- Experience with infrastructure budgeting

Technical Expertise

- Linux server farm management (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)

- NetApp ONTAP systems and storage protocols (NFS/iSCSI)

- Fortinet security suite (FortiGate/FortiManager/FortiAnalyzer)

- Infrastructure automation and orchestration

- Performance monitoring and optimization

- Disaster recovery planning

- Network security and compliance
