Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff EDA Engineer to join the EDA team focused on JIRA and Perforce (or equivalent SCM) administration, IPLM (IP Lifecycle Management), developing framework and automation flows around it. Accountabilities: 

 

Be technically proficient in one or more of the following areas:

 

Must have skills:
 

• JIRA administration (on Prem or cloud) – installation, configuration, customization and maintenance.
• Perforce (or equivalent SCM) administration – installation, configuration and maintenance.
  • Equivalent SCM tool like GitHub, Design Sync, etc.
• Experience in IPLM.
• Experience in tools like Docker, Confluence and JIRA integration, RDBMS (SQL).
• Proficiency in Python, TCL and shell scripting.

 

 Nice to have skills:

• SharePoint online administration.
• HW revision control and release tool management understanding.
• Innovate around GenAI applications and productivity automation.
• High level understanding of EDA tools.
• Adopt best-in-class methodologies and improve Lattice's capabilities where needed.
• Develop strong relationships with worldwide teams.
• Mentor and develop strong partners, colleagues, and employees.
• Occasional travel as needed.

Required Skills

• BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer systems degree, or equivalent.
• Around 10+ years of overall experience in SCM, JIRA, Docker, RDBMS, flow and automation.
• Proficient in one or more programming languages like TCL, Perl, or Python.
• Independent worker with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ability to work with multiple groups across different sites and time zones.
