Lattice Semiconductor is seeking a Staff EDA Engineer to join the EDA/CAD team focused on various EDA tools, flow, methodologies and administration. This position is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic team with ample opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.
Accountabilities:
Be technically proficient in one or more of the following areas:
Must have skills:
- Develop and support full custom & analog mixed-signal design methodologies & flow automation.
- Create, release, and maintain standard design scripts to automate EDA tools & flows including custom design circuit checks and guidelines
- Tracking and resolution of tool and technology file issues with hands-on management of Foundry and EDA vendor support teams.
- Customs Layout and schematic related experience (from setting up tools, flows and methodology perspective).
- Running the LVS and DRC checks on it (from setting up tools, flows and methodologies perspective).
- Experience in Cadence "skills" is a plus.
- AMS (Analog Mixed Simulations) experience.
- Experience in using tools like Cadence Virtuoso, Siemens Calibre (DRC / LVS).
- TCL, Python and shell scripting proficiency.

Required Skills:
- BS/MS/PhD Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer systems degree, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of overall experience in EDA tools, flow, methodologies, 7+ years of specific technical experience.
- Proficient in one or more programming languages like TCL, Perl, or Python.
- Independent worker with demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- Proven ability to work with multiple groups across different sites and time zones.
