Responsibilities for Sitecore developer

• Partner with business teams and the other technical teams to scope projects and define high-level requirements

• Drive solution architectures from ideation through release and support

• Ensure solutions satisfy business requirements and are of the highest possible quality

• Lead development teams in the definition of project implementation plans

• Serve as the primary escalation point for any project technical issue or challenge

• Identify and manage implementation risk

• Collaborate with other developers to resolve technical challenges

• Maintain a solid partnership with business and provide strategic technical leadership

• Leads testing efforts by evaluating failed test cases and performing appropriate coding fixes,   supporting coding changes resulting from user acceptance testing

Qualifications for Sitecore developer

• Knowledge of relational databases,  skills in SQL query design and development

• Bachelor of Computer Science or Engineering

• Sitecore certification a plus

• Strong understanding and hands-on experience with Sitecore development

• In-depth knowledge about Sitecore & experience in creating data templates, layouts & content items
• Work with business & design teams for gathering & analyzing requirements. Designing solutions from a business point of view.
• Implement A/B testing on Sitecore to optimize user experience on the website
• Customize pipeline & Email Campaign Manager to send emails to customers about updates to their subscription
• Expertise in  fluid grid concepts & flexible images to create responsive web pages to deliver the best experience across various devices

• Sitecore engagement analytics module & Google analytics to drive data required for digital engagement dashboard, which is used for executive quarterly reports & to shape strategy by Digital Marketing teams
• Used roles & profiles in Sitecore to deliver targeted content to customers
• Created workflows to publish content & digital assets to the website which optimized overall publishing & approval process

• Strong background in Reusable components and templates, Customization, Personalization, Sitecore search, Sitecore Workflows, Sitecore Commerce implementation, Sitecore Email Experience Manager, Sitecore xDB and Experience Profile, and configuration of production-grade Sitecore CD and CM instances
