Responsibilities & Skills

Lattice is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Systems Administrator to join our team. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure, with expert knowledge of the Microsoft Stack. You will be responsible for overseeing critical components such as Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, DNS/DHCP, Microsoft Teams and Office 365 administration with heavy emphasis on O365 security. This role also requires about 30% end user support and Executive Team support as needed. This is a full-time position located in San Jose, CA. This is a hybrid role, you will be required to come into our office Tuesday to Thursday. Additionally, there may be occasions when you’ll need to be on-site on Mondays as well.  

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Administration of Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive and Azure.
  • Monitor and maintain O365 admin center to ensure efficient user management, access control, and license management.
  • Manage and maintain the Microsoft Intune environment, including configuration, policies, and compliance. Implement and enforce MDM policies to ensure data security and device compliance. Deploy and manage applications and updates using Intune. Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues.
  • Administer on prem Active Directory, including user management, security groups, organizational units, and group policy objects.
  • Administer and configure Microsoft Teams, including user provisioning, policy management, and security settings. Collaborate with other teams to integrate Teams with other systems and applications. Troubleshoot and resolve Teams-related issues, including audio/video conferencing and chat functionality.
  • Support and maintain Teams and Zoom video conferencing platforms running on Polycom hardware.
  • Provide IT support to the Executive Team when needed.
  • Provide 30% end user support as needed and serve as an escalation point for onsite support engineers.
  • Create technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Be comfortable taking on various small to medium sized projects.
  • Work closely with the Networking and Infrastructure Team on various projects, migrations and upgrades.
  • Utilize and manage the O365 Security Dashboard/Portal to monitor and enhance the security posture of our Office 365 environment.
  • Proactively identify and address issues affecting system availability, reliability, and performance.
  • Manage and maintain the organization's telephony systems, including PBX, VoIP, and unified communications platforms.
  • Plan and implement systems automation as required for better efficiency.
  • Work within tight timelines with awareness of impacts on the organization and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to think outside the box, improve functions, see what’s working and what’s not and how things can be further improved.
  • Willingness to work outside of business hours during a business impacting emergency or when deadlines need to be met.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Systems Administrator, with a focus on the Microsoft stack including, but not limited to Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Intune, Teams, Office 365 administration and Azure.
  • Proficient in designing, implementing, and maintaining Active Directory environments, including creating domain controllers and knowledge of FSMO roles.
  • In-depth knowledge of DNS and DHCP services, including configuration, troubleshooting, and high availability.
  • Working knowledge and understanding of telephony systems, including PBX, VoIP, and unified communications platforms.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other similar ticketing tool.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with advanced Microsoft Intune administration, including policies, compliance, and application deployment.
  • Exceptional functional knowledge and experience with O365 admin center, primarily on the O365 security side.
  • Working knowledge of video conferencing technology (Teams, Zoom) to provide support in conference rooms.
  • Expert knowledge and troubleshooting related to Win 10/11 OS.
  • Moderate PowerShell or similar scripting experience
  • Intermediate cloud experience with Azure
  • Basic understanding of networking and systems including Switches, Routers, Firewalls.
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow or other similar ticketing tool.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Must possess independent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and be a “self-starter”
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with multiple groups

Benefits

The base pay for this role is between $94,000 to $115,000 per year. In addition to base salary, we offer an incentive plan bonus, and new hire equity for a competitive total compensation package.
